I remember after the millennium the rejections were still coming, but responses dwindled. So, nasty writers definitely ruined correspondences for many. I've received my fair share of standard, non-personal rejections. But we can just take that to mean they weren't right for us or our project for some reason or another. But I understand and respect why they have had to do it. And I know many of them hate it to. But they are just inundated. It's amazing all the things that they manage. I think of great deal of those who have taken the time to send me a polite and personal rejection.Elizabeth Flora Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11729450308659877966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-551608342749773751.post-89801284065297010822010-08-27T09:55:30.752-07:002010-08-27T09:55:30.752-07:00Hey Heather. Thanks for the advice on reading the book; I need to check it out at the library now!<br />Email queries are really great, though. The only thing bad about them --and with many regular mailed replies--is that the agent usually won't give details about why they are rejecitng you:(<br /><br />Happy writing,<br />LReneeSLindsey Richardsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05479405614100115901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-551608342749773751.post-21321026662885967252010-08-27T09:31:53.937-07:002010-08-27T09:31:53.937-07:00I love agents who accept e-mail submissions!
