Cover Reveal and Free eBooks
My friend, and fabulous author, Magan Vernon is revealing new covers for her two novels today and I was lucky enough to be one of the revealers. Not only do the readers get hot new covers, but the first novel in the series if free right now on Amazon and Barnes and Noble! Here is Magan to tell us a little bit about why she switched to new covers:
Magan: Now don't get me wrong, I LOVED my original covers for How to Date an Alien and How to Break up with an Alien, but to some people it was giving off the impression that it was a cutesy MG book. These new covers will be uploaded to Amazon ASAP so hopefully the rest of the world can understand the hotness of aliens.
Here is a bit about How To Date An Alien:
High school senior Alex Bianchi's estranged father gets her an internship at Circe Operations Center to pad her college applications. But Circe isn't your typical military base. It's an alien-run operation center and not all of the aliens are friendly, especially the one that tries to kill Alex on her first day. When Ace, a dark-eyed Caltian, enters and saves the day, she can't help but be drawn to him. Can these star-crossed lovers survive when they're on the brink of intergalactic war?
Face it, long distance relationships in high school are hard, especially when the other one in the relationship is an alien. Alex Bianchi may have survived an intergalactic battle, but that still doesn't excuse her from her senior year of high school, or qualify her for any sort of scholarship. To make up for college tuition costs, she takes a job at a local coffee shop. If only coffee could solve all of her problems. As Alex's senior year progresses, everything changes and she can't figure out if it is interstellar or if it is just time to break up with an alien.

ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome Magan! They're beautiful!
Delete:) Sounds interesting... My main question is, do the aliens disguise themselves as human or do they actually look human? Oh well, I guess I'll just have to read & find out... Hopping over to Amazon now!
ReplyDeleteYep, you'll have to read to find out! :)
DeleteThe titles alone are appealing. The covers look great. I have been crafting a story to submit to an anthology, keeping me away from the internet. It is a tale of a cast off child, a mysterious Greek physician, and a Hollywood party to die for. Its title: WEDNESDAY'S CHILD. Have a great weekend, Roland
ReplyDeleteWishing you many great words on your story Roland! It sounds intriguing.
