Twitter Tuesday~Writer Contest & Agent Advice

I've had a busy week and didn't make it onto Twitter much but I did manage to catch a few great tweets for you. And as you can see, I've been doing some early spring cleaning on Heather's Odyssey. I hope you like the fresh look! Great news for young adult writers everywhere! Fabulous agent Weronika Janczuk will now be accepting young adult. If you don't know who Weronika is you've got to check her out:

Agent Vickie Motter shares one of her pet peeves and gives us a great writing tip:
@Vickie_Motter Please don't underline things in a manuscript. They hurt my brain. Italicize them please. #writingtips

They may be few in number but hopefully you'll find these tweets very useful!

  6. Great links. Ah, the Gatekeeper Contest. The ghost of Samuel Clemens is muttering under his breath. He hates it.

It's their insisting you have to set up an account before you can vote. I've had 106 reads and only 6 votes. On the surface it looks like my story really sucks! LOL. But friends have told me they just didn't have the time or energy to set up an entire account just to vote.

And that's friends. To win we have to impress many more strangers than friends. Sigh. That's life, right? LOL.

    VR, you're welcome!

Roland, a few of my friends were able to vote by logging in with their Twitter or Facebook accounts! It has taken me a while to get as many votes as I have. Hang in there!
