It has been a productive year for me so far! This last week I finished the 'final' (nothing is ever final until it is in print, of course) edit of my latest manuscript, and I just sent it off to my agents. That means it's time to do a little happy dance, relax the brain, and try not to start writing another book until next year. This latest one is a historical romance about a nurse serving the all-Irish 69th infantry during the civil war. To see the images that inspired me while writing it you can check out my Pinterest board on it.

How about you? How was your holiday, and what last minute things are you squeezing in before the end of the year?

  1. I am writing RETURN OF THE LAST SHAMAN (The End of the World Was Just the Beginning). It's coming slowly.

A friend is formatting THE LEGEND OF VICTOR STANDISH for me for CreateSpace. She doesn't know how to do the cover so I am bruising my mind with YouTube videos on how to do it!! Ouch!

I have worked 9 hours straight today solo. Whew!

I wish you the best of luck with your Civil War novel. I love your blog format. You are a wonder. Happy New Year!!

  3. Congrats Heather! WOW, you have had an exciting writing year! SO cool!

I hope to return back to writing. This year was one for design work and moving into a new place. Crazy, but I am so much happier.

Planning on going to the SCBWI conference in NYC next month and can't wait! Hoping to impress and agent. We shall see. It is a new year after all!

    ALL the best!
